Texas Mission Trip              April 7-13, 2018

The Maumee Watershed District hosted a Volunteer in Mission, Early Response Team trip to Houston, Texas April 7-13.  We went to Houston to assist with Hurricane Harvey clean-up and rebuild.  Our team stayed at Bay Harbour UMC in League City, TX.
 
The team hung drywall for an elderly couple in Santa Fe, TX whose home flooded during Hurricane Harvey. 
 
Thirteen (13) people went - four were from Liberty Chapel (Eloise Griteman, Stephanie Gillen, Joe Gillen, and Carla Gillen). Our District Superintendent Scott Ocke, his Assistant Rae Lynn Schleif, and 7 others from Maumee Watershed District churches went on the trip.
