Junior High Believe Conference 04-16/17-2016

Eleven students and four adults from our church embarked on a journey to the Believe conference in Anderson, Indiana. There we joined alongside hundreds of other junior high students to worship our incredible God. We learned about what truth is and how to find it. We were welcomed by illusionist Brock Gill as he performed some incredible magic tricks to prove that what we believe to be true isn’t always. Speaker Robert Watson followed up on that topic throughout the weekend and showed us why we need to seek God’s Word for truth instead of leaning on our own understandings. During the weekend we enjoyed some free time as a group playing our version of hacky sack. We weren’t talented enough to play the right way so we ended up just hitting it in a circle like a volleyball. We had a great time and drew closer to God and each other as we worshiped alongside the Bryce Osborne Band.
