Looking for Ways to Serve?
Are you feeling the urge to fan your flame by doing a God Job, trying a new one or maybe even adding one? Are you still looking for your spiritual niche? There were many wonderful displays in the Welcome Center, Upper Entrance and Narthex with information on available God Job opportunities in our church and related ministries. Go to the "Ministries" drop down menu and choose "Service Opportunities".
DIRECTORY & LEADERSHIP - If you need a copy of the directory, or a copy of the Leadership Team and committees please call the church office or submit a request using our "contact" form.
LIFEWISE - The Liberty Center community is working towards spreading God's Word to our youth by starting the LifeWise program. This is a program where school children would be released from class during the school day to attend Christian instruction off campus. Several other communities have started this. Below is a video link explaining it. Our Christmas special offering ($1,140) went to support and start this program in Liberty Center.
Safe Sanctuaries information was shared at the 8:15am "drive in service" outside on August 16, 2020. Anyone working with youth regularly or as an occasional helper needs to contact the church office to take care of your paperwork if you have completed it yet. Thank you.

Wesleyan Covenant Association & General Conference 2022 - Annual Conferences have elected delegates to GC2020. At the St. Louis 2019 General Conference the vote was to uphold the traditional Biblical scriptural teachings that are the foundation of Christianity. Important decisions were to be made in 2020 but the General Conference has now been put off to 2022 due to the pandemic and travel restrictions. To keep yourself informed and to sign up for newsletters from the Wesleyan Covenant Association (WCA), Good News Magazine, or to link to the West Ohio Wesleyan Covenant Association (WOWCA) on Facebook go to the drop down menu "UMC & GC2021" under "HOME/INFO" above. Our church belongs to the WCA. Pastor Brad is the treasurer of the WOWCA. At the Annual Conference at Lakeside Joe Gillen was elected as a delegate to the 2020 Jurisdictional Conference that was to take place after the General Conference.
