Middle School Youth Mission Trip - June 2-5, 2019

The junior high group went to Indianapolis from June 2-5. We partnered with Shepherd Community Center to help them meet the needs in their community as they attempt to alleviate poverty on the near East side of Indianapolis. They seek to love their neighbors and help them in a variety of ways. We partnered with them by helping sort a bunch of food donations, replanting some community gardens, helping them make their garden area nicer, and several more projects. We went with Huntington Nazarene Church for the second year in a row and it was great to join with their group and serve together. We also enjoyed exploring downtown Indy in our free evenings.
